The Amsterdam Chair is produced entirely in our factory, using traditional construction methods.The handcrafted frame’s joinery is by mortise and tenon construction. The frame is made of sapele, which is sustainable, strong, stable, and durable hardwood that can be used for both indoor and outdoor applications. Because sapele is a wood that does not need a spray- on finish, it is hand-oiled. The upholstery features removable high density foam cushions that are available in a wide variety of fabric options.
