Early Edition Swan Chair

Originally designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1958, this early edition of the iconic Swan Chair features the original fluted aluminum base—a rare detail from its earliest production by Fritz Hansen.

This base has undergone a sympathetic restoration, preserving its original finish while ensuring lasting durability. Reupholstered by one of Modernica’s master upholsterers, it is covered in premium Knoll Hopsack Red 010 fabric, enhancing its sculptural form with rich texture and bold color.
