Orders and Shipping

Order Process

Orders placed through modernica.net are processed within 24 hours of receipt, or on the following Monday if placed over a weekend. During holidays, orders are processed the following open business day. Order processing during sale or promotional periods may take longer due to high volume.

Once processed, our customer service staff will email a confirmation which includes an estimated ship date. This estimated ship date is only an estimated timeframe for shipping. Fulfillment of orders is based on product availability. Orders are subject to ship before or after an estimated ship date. Shipping and Will Call

Modernica utilizes a number of companies for shipment, depending on the product(s) that are ordered. Our shipping methods includes Ground shipping and Standard Freight with curbside delivery service. White Glove and Inside delivery service are available for an upcharge. Some of our products also require white glove service where noted. Delivery time varies, but can take anywhere between 1 – 2 weeks. 

Delivery Method Specifications: 

Freight Curbside Delivery Service:

  • Provides delivery of your item(s) to the curb of your business or residence. This service does not include removal of packaging, assembly or setup of your item(s).  

Freight Inside Service:

Item(s) are delivered just inside your front door. If you live in a high-rise building, in downtown locations such as New York City, delivering to the lobby would be considered an “inside delivery”.   

Freight White Glove Delivery Service:

  • Includes delivery to a room of your choice within your business or residence. This service includes the unpacking and/or unwrapping of your item and removal of packing materials from your business or residence. Some light assembly is also included with furniture.   

Those living in or near Los Angeles will qualify for Local Delivery rates. We will contact you to make delivery arrangements once your order completes production. Will Call is also available; the address and hours are: 2901 Saco Street, Vernon, CA 90058. Monday – Friday (excluding holidays) 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM. 

All orders ship with a signature requirement. If your order is shipping via UPS or Fed Ex you may opt out of the signature requirement at the time of order placement. The signature requirement cannot be waived after your order has shipped. Modernica is not liable for damage or loss in transit once the requirement has been waived. The signature requirement cannot be waived for freight shipments, nor local deliveries. Customers are responsible for inspecting at the time of delivery. Damage should be noted with the shipper at the time of delivery and reported to Modernica immediately. Modernica’s return and replacement policies are void if damage is not reported within 5 days from receipt of goods.

Sales & Promotions

We are committed to providing our customers with occasional offers and promotions and therefore will launch sales that target clients who have signed up to receive updates on our website or through other programs we may offer. Our online sale pricing, when available, is only extended to orders placed online during the window of time specified. We cannot extend sale pricing before or after a sale has opened or closed. We do not honor expired coupon or promotional codes. We encourage our customers to sign up to our mailing list to receive further information about promotions.

International Orders

The showroom is open: Monday – Friday, 10AM – 6PM. Saturday, 11AM – 6PM, Pacific Standard Time. We cannot process or ship international orders through modernica.net at this time.
