The Case Study Furniture® Merced Sofa was designed by Modernica Studio in 2022 to be a generational piece of furniture. The frame is constructed from solid North American Walnut or North American Hard Rock Maple with a 100% mortise and tenon construction, which provides great strength and durability. A steel spring set with a powder coated finish will increase the longevity of the structure of this sofa. The solid wood slatted back supports the tailored high density foam zippered cushions, making for ease of cleaning or re-upholstering. Available in a wide variety of fabrics and leathers that enhance its architectural silhouette.
