Legendary surfboard shaper and resin artist Gene Cooper reunites with Modernica to bring his iconic touch to a new Case Study® Furniture Side Shell collection, blending timeless craftsmanship with bold, resin-infused colors embedded within the fiberglass and capturing the free spirit of the 1960s surf era.
For the second half of 2025, Cooper has crafted 17 unique chairs, each hand-signed and numbered from 061 to 077. No two shells are alike, as the translucency of the fiberglass refracts light in shifting tones, giving every piece its own living character.
