Woodbury School of Architecture

Ten of Woodbury University’s very own stopped in at the factory grounds this breezy Wednesday morning for a spotlighted tour of the different types of materials we put into our furniture here at Modernica.

The budding architects along with Woodbury professor Thomas Stallman traipsed the seven-acre premises following owner Jay Novak as he showed them the Spanish House real house lounge setting, fiberglass chair factory process, resin and color-mixing bunker, woodshop and custom machinery, and more.

Jay has guest lectured at Woodbury University in the past, speaking on wood materials. The school’s current focal point is interior architecture.

Thank you Woodbury University for today's visit!
