Jeannie Phan

We met Canadian illustrator, Jeannie Phan, via Instagram. With an ever growing client list from top publications such as the New York Times, The Washington Post, and Vogue, her work has amassed a great following. Jeannie’s use of color, figures, plants, and the occasional furry dog or her own cat, Odin, make her work a unique retreat with every shared post. But her work is not entirely whimsical, many times, serious subject matters such as sexism, inequality and immigration are conveyed. See more of Jeannie’s work here.

Jeannie’s passion project, @studioplants and blog Fieldnotes, has become a growing community of plant enthusiasts seeking tips, recommendations and general gardening inspiration. Living in a 525sq. ft. apartment with at least 100 plants, may seem an impossible challenge but the urban jungle is attainable and here’s Jeannie’s place to prove it:
