アムステルダムチェアは、伝統的な工法を使用して完全に自社工場で生産されており、手作りのフレームの接合部分はほぞ穴とほぞの構造で作られています。フレームはサペリで作られています。サペリは、屋内と屋外の両方の用途に使用できる、持続可能で強く、安定した耐久性のある広葉樹です。サペリはスプレー仕上げの必要のない木材なので、手作業でオイルを塗ります。室内装飾には取り外し可能な高密度フォームクッションが採用されており、さまざまな生地オプションからお選びいただけます。

A backrest, slatted by design.
The backrest is built from five vertical slats set into the frame, visible from behind. The cushion rests against the slats, its material showing through the openings with the wood frame remaining the main focus.
Suited to its environment.
Available in maple for indoor use or sapele for outdoor use, the Amsterdam Chair is built for where it lives. The sapele version pairs with Sunbrella fabric, weather-resistant and ready for life outside, while maple keeps its character indoors.

Our plywood pieces are available in four wood stains, natural, classic, walnut, or black, with the selection specific to each design. Each stain brings its own depth and tone to the grain, from the lightness of natural to the richness of black. Every piece is FSC-certified and built by hand in our Los Angeles factory, to one standard of craftsmanship.
