A benchmark for superior craftsmanship, The Case Study Fastback Bed®, adheres to the highest standards of workmanship and genuine materials. Designed by Modernica Studios and built by Modernica’s master builders, this bed is the perfect definition of form follows function.

The Fastback Bed is slightly taller and wider than the Case Study Bed. The headboard and the brushed, chrome-plated steel legs are both designed at an angle. The angled headboard gives comfort and support while reading or watching television in bed. The superstructure of the bed and the headboard are built with a solid one-and-a-half-inch thick laminated hardwood for incredible stability and long-lasting durability. Two chrome-plated legs run across the width of the front and the back of the bed. The bed is engineered with an additional leg, which is mounted out-of-sight under the center of the bed. The additional leg adds a remarkable overall-strength and sturdiness to the bed, which make for a peaceful nights sleep.

The mattress sits directly on a one-piece platform which is built with two zinc-plated perforated steel inserts. These perforated inserts allow the mattress to breathe naturally ― thus eliminating the need for a standard conventional box spring.
